雖然知道jDraft這套輕巧又功能足夠的跨平台CAD軟體，已經有一段時間了，不過因為一直沒有畫CAD圖的相關需求，大多只需要瀏覽開啟即可，所以就一直擱置沒去使用它，剛好在oikos看到有網友提出，因為Mac上搭配Illustrator的CADTools在CS2以後，面對中文化套件會出現問題的狀況，所以就嘗試看看使用它來搭配。

目前jDraft在beta階段，開啟時會出現註冊過期的通知，雖然未註冊的狀態目前也還是可以使用，而如果要註冊的話，目前只要寫英文email到 jdraft@remove-this.sparetimelabs.com 通知他們說要註冊即可。


而軟體開啟時，工具面板預設會隱藏，所以要先到【Window】選項這邊來將它全部開啟。

接著把在illustrator作好需要做尺寸標示的線條圖，匯出成dxf格式，並到jDraft當中使用【Tools】選項匯入。

匯入之後，就可以使用工具面板當中的這四個工具做尺寸標示的動作。


以一般邊界標示為例，點選上一步驟工具面板中，左上角的邊界標示工具，只要靠近到要標示的邊界，就會分別以大圓和小圓，讓使用者指定邊界。


接著只要往要標示的方向，正確拉出去即可看到尺寸標示。


而jDraft本身僅會以真實的尺寸做標示，如果使用者是用縮小的比例尺的話，比如1cm=10m的狀況。


就要點選數字的部份，去單獨做另外的修正，所以最好的方式還是在illustrator直接就用1:1比例繪製，當然如果是大的物件圖，可能就沒辦法了，就要一一去修正尺寸數字。


另外由於使用jDraft import DXF檔案，會讓jDraft的預設列印範圍變成只有匯入物件的大小，所以在完成標示之後，在列印之前要先到【Settings】去修改Drawing Size。



接著就可以將列印範圍設定成適合自己需要的尺寸。



由於完成之後的檔案，是要返回匯入illustrator，所以在這邊要安裝能夠列印成postscript的印表機，在Mac上建議安裝CUPS-PDF，在Windows上，只要新增一個具有postscript功能的虛擬印表機，再列印成檔案之後，將.prn改成.ps即可。


在Mac上使用jDraft，按下列印之後會遇到的問題是面板有些異狀。


不過其實當中的分頁按鈕，還是功能正常，所以只要先按到另外一個分頁。


再返回第一個分頁按鈕，就可以看到正常的印表機選取畫面。


接著按下列印，就可以看到預覽列印的畫面。


列印完成後的pdf檔或postscript檔，回到illustrator開啟，就可以看到標示完成的圖，為了測試往前相容性，這邊用的是illustrator 9版。


jDraft也可以只列印部份選取好的物件，但是如果沒有作好列印尺寸的設定。


jDraft會將物件圖以填滿列印範圍的方式印成pdf，這樣會導致原圖尺寸改變，所以在使用此功能時，需注意到這個部份。
