在TechCrunch看到一篇文章，當中有Chrome OS虛擬機使用的映像檔可以下載，於是就下載了種子把檔案抓完(速度很快，我下載完也暫時還開著做種給人)，並且跟著步驟設定到Virtualbox虛擬機當中。

先講使用後的幾個感想；原先看到Chrome OS的時候，就一直在想這系統的特點，到底和Phoenix或華碩他們在推的BIOS系統，或是以前的Thin Client有什麼差別，實際使用發現：

1.品牌效應還是很有用的，一些精簡系統或是曾經以gOS為名稱推出系統的時候，都多少會整合Google的服務，可是使用起來，還是沒有「在Google的系統裡面使用Google服務」來得有整體性，自家推出的感覺就是不一樣。

2.網路服務的黏著度，只要是很依賴Google各項服務的人(像我自己)，打開Chrome OS就會很自然地開始用這些網路服務，我為我自己在開啟系統後的順手使用感到非常吃驚，用了很久等到關掉虛擬機之後才在想說，沒有影音播放器，或沒有其他軟體怎麼辦，但是在使用過程當中，其實真的就是在專注上網，根本沒想到這些東西，也難怪Google一開始決定先針對上網本推出Chrome OS。

3.關於沒有本地端程式的部份，個人還是覺得這點在發表會上有所保留，因為除了沒提及Chrome開放了Extension的開發，也沒提及先前提過關於NativeClient以及O3D等相關配套，而這些部分都是已經陸續在Chrome瀏覽器的完整支援當中，如果Chrome瀏覽器上能運作，沒理由OS不行。

感想說完之後，貼幾張圖來說一下關於使用的心得，其實對於這個連Pre-Alpha都稱不上的版本，做批評是有點無意義:P，但是還是稍微在貼圖之後寫幾句想法。

首先登入Chrome OS一定要登入Google 帳號，個人有點納悶怎麼沒有讓沒帳號的人可以直接註冊的選項，以及如果沒網路怎麼辦？

進入系統後，點選左上角Chrome的球狀圖標，就可以看到這些預設的WebApp網路應用程式的選單，但是第一次登入還是會要求再登入一次帳號(那剛才登入的意義呢？)

從右上角Chrome工具選項裡面進入[option]可以看到一些進階設定。

進入之後可以看到系統設定原則上就是已經包含在瀏覽器設定當中(畢竟是二者合一的系統)，但是裡面感覺是很未經修改的GTK元件，視覺效果還不夠與Chrome介面一體化。

另外因為Chrome OS沒有關機鍵這種設計，我看到對岸先使用的心得提到，這樣的設計就是讓Chrome OS接近電器操作，關機就是直接關電源，這樣的感覺很棒，可是重開機之後還是告訴我，我前一次使用關閉不正確=_=，而且如果在關機前登出Google帳號，第二次登入之後，還是要再一次地在Chrome瀏覽器裡做登入Google帳號的動作。

另外這個版本使用的Chromium是4.x版，就是最新版本的Chromium了。

畢竟是連Pre-Alpha都稱不上的版本，所以有當機畫面是很正常的，先貼出來跟大家分享一下，搞不好以後就很難看到這畫面了:p
