昨天發現Mediacentral不再是免費軟體之後
就很好奇除了CenterStage和FrontRow之外
還有沒有類似的免費多媒體中心軟體
於是就又發現了二個，分別是iTheater和mMedia其中iTheater功能和操作與Mediacentral類似，不過操作畫面比較漂亮些


不可或缺的是都可以從itunes和iphoto當中，讀取音樂庫及圖庫
另外iTheater也有時鐘跟天氣觀測，不過目前不了解如何更改天氣位置
另外影像播放方面是以quicktime為主，所以如果要播放其他格式
就要安裝使qicktime能夠支援的外掛，比如Flpi4mac或是divx等等

mMedia是一個德國的軟體，已經有英文介面，功能比較多，但是操作也比較複雜一點
除了一般的影片、音樂、圖片之外，也支援eyetv的電視設備
另外還支援線上廣播以及RSS閱讀，但是要新增內容，
要到[套件內容]裡面的/Config當中
找出news.xml以及radio.xml來修改才行
而線上廣播的部分還支援Radio Shark


進入操作選單用鍵盤操作時，除了左右選擇會變換項目之外
選到每個項目的時候，使用上下鍵也會有其他選項，像是設定用的settings就要在news項目往下才會找到



settings設定裡面也可以在另外增加四個額外的應用程式，比如遊戲。
就可以在mMedia當中直接呼叫進入遊戲遊玩



另外鍵盤操作除了上下左右與enter之外，還有其他的操控按鍵指令
指令蠻複雜的，最好到這邊看一下操作指引了解一下
想要退出mMedia只要回到主選單，按cmd+Q就可以了

另外mMedia也支援多國語系以及修改介面，要中文化的話一樣要進入[套件內容]裡面的/Config當中

預設只有English.mmedia和Deutsh.mmedia，只要新增一個Chinese.mmedia之後
進入修改string的內容變成中文就可以將選單中文化了



至於介面中的底圖修改則在網站上有介紹
mMedia功能較豐富，但是操作稍微比較複雜一點，比起iTheater也比較耗一點資源
