NetRestore是讓擁有一台以上Mac的使用者，可以在想要系統更新的時候，一次做好全面重新安裝的工具，除了讓要安裝的機器以火線的硬碟模式開機(開機時按住T)來重新安裝之外，也可以透過網路安裝的方式來建置新的Mac系統環境，只是透過網路安裝的方式必須要架設一個SERVER來使用。
